Coral Bay is part of a large tourist complex beside a private bay, almost two kms wide, and some 11kms north of Sharm el-Sheikh with a view of Tiran Island. The Red Sea and the protected United Nations Ras Mohamed Marine National Park are popular with divers and snorkellers. There are various excursions in the desert by jeep or camel, dinner with Bedouins, a visit to Mount Sinai or the ancient St Catherine's Monastery. The hotel has three small swimming pool close to the coral reef.
